1. What this policy covers

This policy explains what cookies are, which cookies this site uses, and the choices you have about them. A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device and that your browser sends back on later visits. We keep our use of cookies deliberately minimal: one strictly necessary cookie, and Google Analytics cookies that are only ever set with your consent.

2. Strictly necessary cookies

This cookie is required for the site to respect your choices. It does not track you and is exempt from consent under UK law.

The contact form is also protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a spam prevention check that runs only on the contact page and does not use cookies for tracking.

3. Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site: which pages are read, how people arrive, and what devices they use. This helps us improve the site. The data is statistical and we do not use it to identify individuals. If you do not accept, these cookies are never set and no data is sent to Google.

4. Embedded videos

Some pages offer videos hosted on YouTube. We use YouTube's privacy enhanced player, and nothing is loaded from YouTube until you choose to play a video. If you do play one, YouTube may set its own cookies or similar technologies, which are governed by Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. Not playing videos means YouTube sets nothing at all.

5. How consent works

On your first visit a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Accepting and rejecting are equally easy, nothing is pre selected, and no analytics cookies are set until you accept. The site works exactly the same either way. Your choice is remembered for 12 months.

6. Changing your mind

You can change your choice at any time using the button below. If you withdraw consent, we stop loading Google Analytics and remove its cookies from your browser.

Manage cookie preferences

You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking the strictly necessary cookie means the site cannot remember your choice, so the banner will appear again.
